PROJECT

Group Price Optimization (GPO)

CHALLENGE

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), a large, worldwide hotel chain headquartered in Atlanta, needed to enhance the workflow and usability of their Group Price Optimization (GPO) pool.  IHG required a number of improvements including alignment of the existing UI with new company standards and integrating the tool into a new UI container. Additionally, it was critical to understand user pain points and the process of how they evaluate groups to ensure that the correct data was displayed to facilitate informed decision making.

SOLUTION

Satori Interactive’s team implemented the ACCELERATED SERVICE to enhance IHG’s tool with an intuitive UI design and search capabilities.  Further data visualization improvements to the tool included graphical data views, auto group optimization fields, additional note display, and the ability to preview and play out what-if scenarios for bookings.  Satori’s researchers also recommended adding rate as a range and additional supporting data to the responsive dashboard design to assist with decision making and daily workflow while reducing the need for users to gather information on their own.

RESULTS

IHG achieved increased productivity with this tool by reducing the need for team members to gather information for analysis of their booking profitability.  The tool also incorporated their natural workflow which led to a decrease in time spent and manipulating data within the tool and discussion time needed around group profitability.  IHG enjoys a reduction in costs spent on printed materials from multiple sources and man hours while increasing their profit opportunities through raising the likelihood of booking groups that will benefit the hotel.

Worldpay

PROJECT

User Portal

CHALLENGE

Worldpay is a privately-owned payment processing company that needed insight on customers’ pain points when accessing their online systems as well as needs and requirements for an identity management system. They needed identification and categorization of the user base that could be leveraged to transform their existing system. Worldpay’s efforts and goals included delivering a content management system and seamless user experience across their online portals. These areas are accessed by their customer base to manage their accounts and generate necessary reports.

SOLUTION

Using Satori Interactive’s methodology, the teams started with the PRIMED AND READY POC (Proof of Concept) SERVICE to provide a comprehensive collection of user experience deliverables to prepare Worldpay for their move forward.  Our researchers utilized Qualitative and Quantitative Research and Analysis to assess the needs of Worldpay’s customers while the designers and developers used interactive wireframes to create an identity management system including complete personas, user journeys, a system map and a seamless UI solution across all of Worldpay’s online portals.

RESULTS

Worldpay now has an extensive set of assets to facilitate a change in the way their customers interact with their online systems.

Boehringer Ingelheim

PROJECT

NexGard Gamification

CHALLENGE

Boehringer Ingelheim, a large and domestic animal healthcare company, was seeking a new entry point for sales discussions with veterinarian clinics via an interactive interpretation of their brand. This advanced sales tool required a way to educate and entertain clients to increase product awareness while providing an immersive environment.

SOLUTION

Satori Interactive’s PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SERVICE incorporated the efforts of our research, design, and development teams to create a fully customized, interactive game featuring Boehringer Ingelheim’s products. The game screens offered educational elements while integrating brand assets.  The technical components of the game included animations for points on a scoreboard complete with penalties for wrong answers plus the ability to customize game length.  The end product provided flexibility of use by leveraging one-on-one touch screen device play and facilitation-led projector game play.

RESULTS

Boehringer Ingelheim’s sales force has a new digital platform to complement their product collateral materials and enhance their meetings at veterinarian clinics.
