What is a System Usability Scale?

[Definition under 100 words]

A system usability scale (SUS) is a Likert scale that measures the usability and learnability of a product or system by asking a specific series of 10 questions with responses ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree.  The result of SUS is a single score from 0-100.
